On the way there is a stop at the Fort of São Domingos da Baralha, dating from the 17th century, considered at the time as the first defense of the coast of Arrábida.

Another must-see is Baleeira beach, where the wild scenery and the remains of a fishermen's shelter will feed our imagination with scenes that took place here since Roman times. This is a nice stop for a swim to refresh.
