Starting near Convento D'el Carmen, the first stop is at Fojo, then ruins of Roça do Casal do Meio - a burial monument of the Late Bronze Age.

The trail then crosses the Risco lands before reaching the mysterious Cova’s cave surroundings, a Phoenician sanctuary.

The trail ends at Fort Santiago, an imposing fortress of 17th century military architecture.
